I have a friend, who was looking through my pictures and she fell in love with this flower. I know she likes purple so I think that was part of it. It is hard to paint a piece for someone you know because you want them to love it as much as you do. It's wonderful to walk in someone's home and see your art hanging on the wall. Watercolor
